World Literacy Day Workshop and Hindi Diwas Celebration

On the 14th of September 2019, Ydeepa Ranchi orchestrated a dynamic and enlightening one-day workshop at St. Xavier’s School, addressing the significant themes of World Literacy Day and Anti-Bullying, with a parallel celebration of “Hindi Diwas.” The workshop’s diverse agenda catered to students from Class 9 to 5, focusing on enhancing literacy skills and sensitizing them to the importance of preventing bullying. In parallel, the event celebrated “Hindi Diwas” with great enthusiasm and creativity, bringing students from Class 4 to 1 together to partake in engaging activities that honored the beauty and cultural significance of the Hindi language. A highlight of the event was a thought-provoking skit, which involved students in understanding the impacts of bullying and the importance of fostering a safe and inclusive environment within the school. The program received tremendous appreciation from the students, teachers, and YWCA members alike, as it successfully fostered a positive and nurturing learning environment.
